This morning's wonderful downpour in Delhi continues, according to the most recent report from the India Meteorological Department (IMD). It is anticipated that there will be persistent clouds in the sky, along with sporadic thunder and light rain. It is predicted that winds will blow between 40 and 50 km per hour.


Delhi News: The Capital's Rain Dance


From 5 to 6 AM on Saturday, there were sporadic downpours in several areas of Delhi, such as IGI Airport, AIIMS, DND, Noida, Vasant Kunj, and Dwarka. The temperature has dropped thanks to the rain. The weather in the Delhi-NCR region has improved because of the soothing drizzle. An Orange Alert has been issued by IMD for Delhi, while a Yellow Alert has been issued for Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, and Gurugram. Before leaving the house, residents should study weather reports and take all required precautions, according to meteorologists.

The Indian Meteorological Department says that Saturday would be cloudy with a chance of mild to heavy rain and sporadic thunderstorms across Delhi. There is a chance that 40 to 50 km/h winds will prevail. It is predicted that the highest temperature will rise to 24 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be approximately 15 degrees Celsius. It is possible that the minimum temperature will be three degrees above average and the maximum temperature will be two degrees below normal.


Growing Concerns about Air Pollution


Delhi's air pollution levels were classified as bad on Friday. Anand Vihar registered a PM 2.5 level of 344, which is classified as extremely poor, and a PM 10 level of 347, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). PM 2.5 was recorded at 225, which is deemed bad, while PM 10 was recorded at 219 at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport (T3). The PM 2.5 level in Dwarka Sector 8 was recorded at 338, which is considered extremely poor.


Indications of a Drop in Temperature


According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Delhi's minimum temperature over the past 24 hours was 29.9 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees more than usual. Two degrees below average, or 10.8 degrees Celsius, was the least temperature recorded. According to IMD, Delhi will get cloudy skies during the day until March 6 and clear skies on March 7. There are no signs that the temperature will rise noticeably during the next few days.
