Actor Rituraj Singh59, Died on Tuesday from unexpected heart attack



Tuesday marked the death of actor Rituraj Singh,59, from an unexpected heart attack. Amit Behl, the president of the Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA), confirmed Singh's passing. According to Behl, the actor, who is well-known for his part in the hit television programme "Anupama," had a heart attack on Tuesday at around 12:30 in the morning.



On February 20, TV actor Rituraj Singh passed away after a heart attack, leaving behind a legacy of iconic roles. On social media, celebrities including Sonu Sood, Varun Dhawan, Kavita Kaushik, Hansal Mehta, and Manoj Bajpayee shared their condolences.

It was discovered that Singh was receiving therapy for digestive system problems that had been bothering him. TV producer Sandeep Sikand and Bollywood star Arshad Warsi expressed their condolences on Singh's passing while highlighting his contribution to the business.

In a tweet, Arshad Warsi revealed that Rituraj Singh had a role in his debut production as a producer. He wrote, "It is heartbreaking to learn of Rituraj's passing. He was in my first picture as a producer, and we shared an apartment. A friend and a talented actor were lost."

However, Sandeep Sikand, who is connected to the well-liked television programme "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii," recalled collaborating with Singh. He said, "I am shocked and saddened by this news!" expressing his amazement and sadness. I've been in disbelief ever since this news was shared early in the morning on my WhatsApp group. Rituraj and I collaborated on "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii." He was one of those actors who enthusiastically welcomed me into the show. It's obvious that he was a talented actor, but he was also one of the good people I've ever met. This news genuinely saddens me."

Known for his work in "The Kashmir Files" and "The Vaccine War," director Vivek Agnihotri praised Singh on Twitter, writing, "Rituraj, my friend, how did you make it possible?"How much was left? Artists are immortal. Om Shanti.


Director Hansal Mehta, who collaborated with actor Rituraj Singh on the television series "Street Pali Hill," recalled the actor. Mehta stated that during the filming of the well-liked TV show, they became close friends. He uttered, "Rituraj! This is unbelievable! We had a brief friendship while I was directing him for a daily soap opera called "Street Pali Hill." Even though it has been a while, we spent some time together. I remember those times well. An enthusiastic and underappreciated actor. Too quickly, and without warning, he's gone."


In the heyday of his career, Rituraj Singh was last seen in the hit television series "Anupama," which Rupali Ganguly directed, playing the strict restaurant owner Yashpal. Aside from "Anupama," he had been in multiple TV series, movies, and online series.



He has acted in several films and television shows, such as "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii," "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai," "Badrinath Ki Dulhania," "Thunivu," "Criminal Justice," "Abhay," "Bandish Bandits," "Made in Heaven," and "Indian Police Force." 

As a result, both his admirers and the entertainment business are shocked by Rituraj Singh's sudden passing. His legacy as a gifted and versatile actor will endure, as will his contributions to film and television. I hope his soul is at peace.
