BJP Faces Opposition Criticism Over Parliament Security Breach

In a recent development, the Opposition has launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) concerning a security breach in the Parliament yesterday. The BJP, accused of mismanagement, found itself in the midst of controversy as it was held responsible for the incident that unfolded on the previous day. In a swift response, the BJP refuted these charges, pointing fingers at the Congress party and asserting that the individuals involved were supporters of the Congress.

The individuals in question, namely Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D, were found to be in possession of entry passes bearing the name of Mysuru MP Pratap Simha. Additional suspects included Amol Shinde and Neelam Devi, who were apprehended outside the Parliament premises. Another suspect, Vishal Sharma, who was initially absconding, was later arrested from his residence in Gurugram. Lalit Jha, another suspect, is still at large.

A key figure in this unfolding drama is Neelam Azad, the only woman among the accused. Hailing from Haryana's Jind, she had been residing in Hisar while preparing for civil service examinations. Neelam, who possesses a range of educational qualifications, including an MA, M.Ed., and MPhil, had reportedly cleared the National Eligibility Test.

Amit Malviya, a prominent BJP leader, took to social media to present his counter-narrative. He shared an old video of Neelam Azad participating in a protest rally in support of the Congress. Alongside this, he posted photos to substantiate his claim, labeling Neelam as an 'andolanjeevi' or an active protester. Malviya questioned the circumstances, asking why someone from Mysore was chosen to obtain a Parliament pass from a BJP MP.

Neelam Azad, upon being detained outside the Parliament, expressed her perspective on the situation. Coming from a background of unemployment and with parents engaged in labor, farming, and small trade, she emphasized the need for their voices to be heard. She highlighted her qualifications, including a master's degree, a teaching degree, and an MPhil, as well as her success in the National Eligibility Test.

The detained woman's mother voiced concerns about Neelam's unemployment despite her academic achievements. She shared, "She was worried about unemployment...I had spoken with her, but she never told me anything about Delhi. She used to tell me that she is so highly qualified but has no job, so it is better to die."

As the political drama continues to unfold, questions linger about the motives behind the security breach and the true affiliations of those involved. The BJP's attempt to shift blame onto the Congress adds another layer of complexity to this incident. The differing narratives presented by both sides underscore the need for a thorough investigation to uncover the truth behind the security breach in the Parliament.
